In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the famous Nut Goodie, the Pearson Candy Company has granted exclusive statewide licenses to four popular Upper Midwest ice cream shops to sell original Nut Goodie-inspired ice cream creations throughout the summer.
The Nut Goodie is an Upper Midwest icon that has been enjoyed by local families for generations, and its creamy maple center covered with real milk chocolate and fresh Virginia peanuts make it the perfect muse for a summer ice cream treat.
The four ice cream shops also will participate in a friendly competition.
Do goodie and vote for your favorite shop and Nut Goodie recipe below. The shop that acquires the most votes will earn the “People’s Choice” award at the end of summer, and the Pearson Candy Company will donate $1000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest on behalf of the “People’s Choice” winner.
